The patented, state of the art technology found in the Wildcat ADS makes

geographic locales and economic operating areas, Wildcat ADS
consistently outperformed all weight‑only devices and manually operated
braking systems.
Wildcat ADS provides smooth, precise operation of the rig brake handle
with unprecedented accuracy while monitoring multiple drilling
parameters. Properly configured, it can sustain potential instantaneous
drilling rates of up to 500 feet per hour. This is over five times
better than the older technology. (Rig braking system, air supply, and
other factors may determine the actual limits based on the setup of the
system.)

Safety Is a Wildcat Services Priority
The design of the differential drawworks gear unit makes it the safest
brake actuator available. In addition, an internal low pressure shutdown
system is set by our technician prior to the beginning of operations,
allowing pressure to be adjusted to fit the application.
Also important, the simultaneous multiparameter design allows redundancy
with a primary and secondary setting to insure reliable shutdown should
a radical change in drilling dynamics occur.
